Laparoscopic Oophorectomy

Laparoscopic Oophorectomy is a procedure to remove one or both ovaries using keyhole surgery, while Oophorectomy via Laparotomy is performed through a larger abdominal incision when more extensive access is needed. Ovarian Cystectomy, done laparoscopically, removes ovarian cysts while preserving ovarian function. Twisted Ovarian Cystectomy treats ovarian torsion, a condition where an ovarian cyst causes the ovary to twist, potentially cutting off blood supply.
